This project emerged as an independent continuation of a previous collaboration developed with designer Guido Vera for a series of glass brooches.
Building upon that material and technical exploration, Juan Pablo Valenzuela continued developing the formal language of the pieces through an autonomous practice under The Glass Lab, expanding the research into new formats and wearable applications.
Each piece is produced on demand and specifically adapted to the client’s ear anatomy, understanding the object not only as jewelry, but also as a sculptural extension of the body. The work combines borosilicate lampworking techniques with custom fitting processes, allowing every piece to establish a unique relationship with its wearer.
